Do these after exercise, be careful of self-defeating

China’s Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes (2017 Edition) states that type 2 diabetes is a progressive disease. As the disease progresses, blood sugar tends to gradually increase, and the intensity of treatment to control hyperglycemia should also be strengthened, often requiring a combination of multiple methods. Lifestyle intervention is the basic treatment measure for type 2 diabetes and should be implemented throughout the treatment of diabetes. Studies have also shown that diabetic patients who insist on regular exercise for 12 to 14 years have a significantly reduced mortality rate.

Regular exercise has many benefits. It can help diabetic patients improve insulin sensitivity and skeletal muscle function, improve fat and protein metabolism, prevent and treat diabetic complications, and improve their mental state. However, this does not mean that as long as you exercise, there are benefits, and exercise is not without taboos. If you don't pay attention and do it wrong, it may even be harmful to your body. Especially right after exercise, it is best not to do the following things immediately, otherwise you may be self-defeating!

1. When exercise ends, do not stop exercising immediately. When the exercise is about to end, you should do 5 to 10 minutes of recovery exercises, and gradually reduce the heart rate to the pre-exercise level. Do not stop exercising suddenly.

2. Do not take a cold bath immediately. You can rest for a period of time (your heart rate drops to the pre-exercise level) before taking a bath. It is best to take a warm bath and replenish water in time.

3. Wipe sweat in time to avoid catching cold. Do not enter the air-conditioned room immediately and change sweaty clothes immediately.

At the same time, be careful not to eat, drink a lot of water, take medicine, or inject insulin immediately after exercise.

Therefore, we must exercise correctly, which can not only strengthen our body, but also improve our immunity, and also have a very good protective effect on various body functions.
